T.J. Butler – Father, Coach, Community Leader

T.J. Butler is a 25 year resident of Newtown Township.  He is a Graduate of Council Rock High School, Bucks County Community College and Millersville University.  He is married for more than 16 years and has 2 children that attend Newtown Middle School.

T.J. was born in northeast Philadelphia, the oldest of 4 boys. After his 1st year of high school, his family moved to Newtown Grant.  He graduated Council Rock High School, where he was a member of the football team & yearbook.  Due to his strong family work ethic, he worked part-time jobs after school and on weekends throughout the area and continued while attending Bucks County Community College. T.J. transferred to Millersville University 2 years later. During his 1st month at Millersville he met his wife, Jenelle (Snyder), who is originally from the Poconos.

After graduating from Millersville University, T.J. moved back to the Newtown area and married his college sweetheart just over a year later. As he started his career in sales and marketing they started their family, purchasing their first home together in Newtown Grant and having their 2 children 17 months apart.  Even though the family outgrew their initial house, they never moved far and they still call Newtown Grant home to this day.

T.J. was elected to the Homeowners Association and served his community for 6 years.  He also coached 4 years of youth baseball for CRNAA, 5 years of youth wrestling for CRWA and 2 years youth football for the Northampton Indians.  In addition to coaching he served as a member of the Board of Directors for Northampton Football and CRWA. While on the Board of Directors he managed I.T., communications and served as the Tournament Director for the CRWA Indian Open youth wrestling tournament, held annually at Council Rock High School each January.  With his coaching days behind him now that his son is starting Middle School he plans to help CRWA grow their Middle School program.  Lastly, he volunteers as a co-chair for his church on the marketing team.

Today, T.J. leads the talent acquisition efforts at 1SEO.com I.T. Support & Digital Agency based in Bristol, PA. With his coaching days behind him now that his son is starting Middle School, he plans to give back to his community as Township Supervisor and spend time with his extended family, who are spread across Bucks County.
